It's been 3,000 years... but it is finally out in early access and it's fucking glorious. I've been waiting for this bad boy for over 5 years and hoo boy it's a treat.

It's currently 17€ on steam but if you buy it today or tomorrow, you get a FREE copy to give to a friend! It's still incomplete (no official true ending yet) and lots of the prequel characters are still in development, as well as items, maps and game modes to-come, but from what I've played now, it builds on its predecessor wonderfully and Chris (the guy who wrote the orgasmic music of the first one) is back with some more in his bag.

I'll be playing this for the foreseeable future so if anyone is just as hyped as I am, hit me up and we can co-op my lad

Good game, please play Lao it's very nice. Just played for an unreasonable amount of time though so I'm on RoR 2 cooldown for a few days I think.

I am 120 minutes in ror2.
Shrines of Combat no longer offer to accept my money because they have no challenge to spawn for me.
Everything dies on-summon and I just walk (read speed through with jetpack velocity) the map, go for the teli, stand and wait for the explosions to subside and then loop again.
I think I'm on loop 30 and nothing came even close to hurting me.
I challenge the Mountain, but the end result is the same because the game's logic can't spawn any more enemies on the playfield.
Money has no meaning anymore, I kill one enemy and gain 100,000 gold.
Chests can't keep up with me because they don't scale with my items making it pointless to even buy them, but i do anyway.
Sometimes I forget that i can press ctrl to sprint because I already move so fast that i can't pick up items anyway. I have to avoid sprinting in war-banners because I immediately clip out of the world and get teleported back.
All damage is nullified if I'm in turret's fungus radius which is enormous since i have 20+ of them.
I can stand in plain sight of a titan yeet beam and stare blankly in his eye as he lazors me and not die because of the healing.
Sometimes there are too many boss mobs at once and i actually have to start shooting to see again, instead of just walking around the map.

It is done.

As I calmly approach the final teli and hit activate, the unspeakable happens. 24 stone titans rise from the ground below and all point their heads towards me. In a moment of panic I deploy one of my turrets as I know I'll be needing healing pronto, but it turns out this would be my last mistake. There are now 20+ lazor targets all over my body and I can already see how this is going to end. I throw my shield generator but it's no use, a titan from around the corner punches his arm through the floor and rams my ass up and out of my shield radius. I am yeeted by 20 lazor beams at once and instadie, my body flying though the air, still being yeeted by lazors and propelled through the air upwards as the death screen slowly fades in.
