Very recently, _Phineas, a notorious player back in the golden age of AoTTG, has come back to the spotlight of the community. The reason? To revive and build on Jaegerbomb, the guild he created and was forced out of by his guildmates for seemingly atrocious behavioral reasons. Let’s catch up on the scene:

As previously stated, he was the original creator and guild leader of one of the top guilds in AoTTG. That guild being Jaegerbomb which was on par to the guilds of Knights of Redemption, 27th Survey Corps, and Talons of Liberty. However this seat didn’t last too long as unfortunately as that is. Over the course of the months after forming, majority of the guildmates became displeased with their leader and decided instead of majority leaving the guild, they would instead form a council and remove Phineas from his position entirely as he became unfit to run the guild in the eyes of his guildmates.
It’s not too uncommon for long time players to make it back to the scene of the community, but in this case, there’s a notable exception going beyond forming Jaegerbomb. That revolving around the reasons why he was removed, and how he is approaching this “reformation.”
The Reasons for Removal
Phineas is no stranger to toxicity. He used to be the former moderator for the explicitly toxic and offensive subreddit “r/fatpeoplehate” a subreddit that had over 100K subs and now banned due to the content it held. Majority being what you think it is, fat shaming.
Intolerable and insufferable attitude. As you can already expect from being a moderator of a pretty offensive subreddit, the words that Phineas uses on a average conversation could very well be equally offensive/insulting to a newer individual to the party. Add the peak of Jaegarbomb’s success with this type of welcoming and you get the reputation that Jaegerbomb had for a while which was described as “Toxic, offensive, full of Nazis, and generally unpleasant” for a short while of its existence back when things were under his supervision.
Reforming Jaegerbomb
Like most guilds, they tend to lurk about and say they are still formed without actively recruiting or forming guild related events and such. Jaegerbomb is one of these guilds where it’s known to exist, but it’s more of an artifact to look at. Phineas however believes that it is disbanded regardless of the current members stating that it’s not. This had lead to multiple instances of heated rebuttals with zero headway on an agreement or managed conclusion to resolve the situation. By the conversations being held during these exchanges, it’s highly unlikely that anything good will come from it as Phineas believes he is entitled to the name regardless of his lost position, and the current Jaegerbomb community refusing his involvement with the name. This has further led to some serious name calling and dirt to be thrown. However one of my personal distastes with the current situation is the current “Scouts Flag” for reformation as it depicts a middle aged individual whom is bleeding excessively and missing a fraction of the top of his head. Definitely not a great introduction when trying to reform an image.

In short, nothing really. This event is notable for how it’s playing out that the actual “reforming” or return of the original creator. The arguing, slander, and hard to distinguish whether this is all a farce or an actual goal is interesting as the community itself mostly deals with smaller affairs usually dealing with server crashing. So basically it’s just more drama that goes back to the guild eras.
